Oil prices adjusted upward as the second time for Feb

 (KPL) Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced on Monday an upward adjustment of oil prices, the second time for the month and third time of this year.

The adjustment which took effect yesterday, Feb 22, results in increased prices for both gasoline and diesel in Vientiane and provinces across the country.

According to the Ministry’s announcement no. 0336, dated February 20, 2012, oil prices are as follow:

Vientiane Capital: premium gasoline: 12,020 kip per litre; regular gasoline:10,980 kip per litre; diesel is 9,710 kip per litre.

Kammouane province: premium gasoline: 12,040 kip; regular gasoline: 11,020 kip; diesel: 9,760 kip.

Savannakhet province: premium gasoline: 12,160 kip, regular gasoline: 11,030 kip; diesel: 9,760 kip.

Champassak province: premium gasoline: 12,160 kip, regular gasoline: 11,020 kip; diesel: 9,780 kip.

Borkeo province: gasoline:11,110 kip; diesel: 9,840 kip and Xiengkhouang province: gasoline: 11,250 kip; diesel: 9,940 kip.
