Laos and Vietnam court sector strengthen cooperation

(KPL) A bilateral meeting between the Lao Supreme court and the Supreme People' s Court of Vietnam was held in Vientiane on 15 May under the co- chair of Mr. Dang Quang Phuong, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People' s Court of Vietnam, and Mr. Somboun Sonthikoum, Vice President of Supreme court of the Lao PDR.

At the meeting, they informed each other about the development of the court sector in their respective countries. Vice President Somboun expressed his thanks to Vietnam for helping Laos train its human resources. He confirmed that the Lao Supreme Court will do its best to develop the sector. The meeting is part of the Vietnam delegation’s visit to Laos, from May 14-19 , at the invitation of Lao Supreme court.
