PM urges Laos-Timor Leste ties enhancement

(KPL) Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong urged visiting Timor Leste Minister of Foreign Affairs to increase visit exchange between Laos and Timor Leste for fruitful cooperation in the future.

Meeting the Foreign Minister of Timor Leste yesterday in Vientiane, Prime Minister highly valued the visit to Laos by Minister Zacarias Albano da Costa, and his delegation as a contribution to enhancing the friendship ties and cooperation between both countries Laos and Timor Leste.

The Timor Leste Minister expressed his thanks to Mr. Thongsing Thammavong and the government of Laos for his and its support for the access to ASEAN membership of Timor Leste and the warm and hornourable welcome extended to him and his delegation which resulted in his successful visit to the country.

Prior to meeting the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of Timor Leste and his delegation visited business establishments and cultural tourist sites including Nam Ngum hydropower plant and That Luang.
