NA President receives new Philippine Ambassador

(KPL) President of the National Assembly Mrs. Pany Yathortou received here on Tuesday a courtesy visit from new Philippine Ambassador to Laos, Ms. Maria Lumen B Isleta.

NA President Pany highly appreciated the appointment to the post of Ms. Maria Lumen B Isleta. She said she considered her appointment to the post as a significant contribution to the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation between Lao PDR and the Philippines.

The new Philippine Ambassador expressed thanks to the NA President for her warm welcome she extended to her and assured the NA President that she would do her best in enhancing the relations and cooperation between Laos and the Philippines.
